This site is operated by Vivek Kumar Singh, an independent software consultant based in Tokyo, Japan. This policy explains exactly what is collected, why, and what control you have. Analytics stay switched off until you explicitly consent.

Who is responsible for your data
Vivek Kumar Singh is the data controller for this website. For any privacy question, correction, or deletion request, email contact@vivekkumarsingh.in and you will get a reply within a few working days.
This is a personal portfolio and consulting site. There is no advertising network, no data broker, and nothing on this site is sold or shared for marketing purposes.
What is collected, and when
Nothing personal is collected simply by reading a page. Data is only recorded when you actively submit something, or when you opt in to analytics.

The AI tools and what happens to your input
The free AI tools — InterviewAI, ArchGen, DevScope, DB Designer, PitchForge and ResumeScope — send the text you enter to Google's Gemini API to produce a result. Your input leaves this site to reach Google, and is subject to Google's terms in transit.
Do not paste secrets, credentials, client-confidential material, or anyone else's personal data into these tools. For ResumeScope and InterviewAI specifically: your resume text is processed to generate the analysis, and interview transcripts are stored so your report can be produced and emailed to you.
Requests are rate-limited per IP address to keep the tools free and available; that limiter stores a hashed identifier and a request count, not your browsing history.
Where the data lives
Form submissions and AI-tool session data are stored in Google Firebase (Firestore), and transactional emails are sent through Zoho Mail. The site itself is hosted on Vercel. Each of these providers processes data on this site's behalf under their own security and privacy commitments.
Firebase App Check with reCAPTCHA runs on form submissions to block automated abuse. Google may set a cookie in that process; it is a security control, not tracking.
How long it is kept
Enquiries, bookings and hire requests are kept while the conversation is active and for a reasonable period afterwards for business records. Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe. Guestbook entries stay until you ask for removal. Interview sessions and reports are kept so you can revisit your results.
You can ask for any of this to be deleted at any time by emailing contact@vivekkumarsingh.in. There is no form to fill in and no reason required.
Your rights
Depending on where you live — including under the GDPR in the EU/UK and India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act — you have the right to access the data held about you, correct it, have it deleted, object to processing, and withdraw consent at any time.
Analytics consent can be withdrawn whenever you like by clearing this site's data in your browser, which resets the cookie banner to its default denied state. Withdrawing consent does not affect anything already collected while consent was active.
Children
This site is aimed at professionals and businesses. It is not directed at children under 16, and no data is knowingly collected from them. If you believe a child has submitted personal data here, email the address above and it will be deleted.
Changes to this policy
This policy was last updated on July 30, 2026. If it changes materially, the date at the top of this page changes with it. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
