Legal
Cookie Policy
This site uses very few cookies, and none for advertising. Analytics are denied by default until you press Accept on the banner — that is a deliberate choice, not a legal minimum.

The short version
Strictly necessary storage is always active because the site cannot function safely without it. Analytics cookies are set only after you opt in. There are no advertising, profiling, or cross-site tracking cookies of any kind, and nothing is shared with ad networks.
What is actually stored
Some of what is listed below is browser storage (localStorage) rather than a true cookie, but it is included for transparency because it behaves similarly from your point of view.
| Name / type | Purpose |
|---|---|
| vk-consent (localStorage, necessary) | Remembers whether you accepted or declined analytics, so you are not asked again |
| Submission throttle keys (localStorage, necessary) | Prevents accidental duplicate form submissions |
| admin_session (cookie, necessary) | Only ever set for the site owner after admin login; expires after 8 hours |
| Firebase App Check / reCAPTCHA (cookie, necessary) | Google security check that blocks automated form abuse |
| Google Analytics — _ga, _ga_* (cookie, analytics) | Set only after consent. Measures page views, scroll depth and Core Web Vitals |
| Firebase Performance (analytics) | Set only after consent. Measures page load and network timing |
| interview_email (sessionStorage, functional) | Carries your email into an InterviewAI session; cleared when you close the tab |
How to refuse or remove them
Press Decline on the cookie banner and no analytics storage is set at all. If you accepted earlier and changed your mind, clear this site's cookies and site data in your browser settings — the banner reappears and analytics return to denied.
Every major browser also lets you block or delete cookies globally. Blocking strictly necessary storage may stop forms and the admin login from working correctly, but reading articles will still work.
Third parties that may set storage
Google (Firebase Analytics, Firebase Performance, reCAPTCHA via App Check) and Vercel (hosting and delivery) may set storage as described above. Push notifications, if you opt in, use Firebase Cloud Messaging and require an explicit browser permission prompt that you can revoke at any time in your browser settings.
