SalesInbox reorganizes a salesperson's email around the pipeline, so messages from open deals surface above newsletters. Neither requires new spend on most paid plans; both change daily selling behavior within a week of activation. A fair warning on this group: notification features are only as good as your discipline in tuning them. SalesSignals with every channel enabled becomes noise within a fortnight, and salespeople will mute noise. Start with email opens and website visits only, prove the value, then expand. The goal is a handful of high-intent signals a day, not a feed. Canvas and the Client Portal Feature six is Canvas, Zoho's drag-and-drop record design studio. It sounds cosmetic and is anything but. Default CRM screens show forty fields to a salesperson who needs eight, and clutter is an adoption killer. With Canvas you redesign record views per team — sales sees pipeline essentials, support sees history and SLAs. One client's CRM adoption problem, which they assumed needed retraining, was largely fixed by a one-day Canvas cleanup that made screens legible. Feature seven is the client portal. Most Zoho One customers own portal capability across several apps and have never opened the settings page. The portal caveat is presentation. The out-of-the-box portal looks generic, and clients judge you on it, so budget a few hours for branding and for deciding exactly what customers should see. A portal exposing internal notes or raw field names does more damage than no portal at all. Configure it deliberately, pilot it with two friendly customers, then roll it out. Sandbox and Zia Feature eight is the sandbox. Enterprise plans include a safe copy of your CRM for testing changes before they touch production. Almost nobody uses it, and the consequence is predictable: someone edits a live workflow on a Tuesday, and by Wednesday half the team's automations are misfiring. Every structural change I make for clients goes through sandbox first. It is free discipline that you already paid for. Feature nine is Zia, Zoho's AI assistant. I will be honest: parts of Zia are gimmicky, and I do not recommend everything under the brand. But three pieces earn their keep in 2026 — deal-win probability scoring that flags at-risk deals early, anomaly detection that catches sudden drops in activity, and best-time-to-contact suggestions that measurably lift connect rates. Turn those three on, judge them against your own data for a quarter, and ignore the rest until it proves itself. Kiosk Studio, and How to Actually Adopt All This Feature ten is Kiosk Studio, one of Zoho's newer no-code tools. It lets you build small guided screens inside CRM — a five-step call-logging wizard, a structured returns process — so junior staff follow a flow instead of hunting through fields. For SMEs with high staff turnover or part-time sales support, kiosks compress training time dramatically. It is the feature I am currently switching on most often for clients who want to get more from zoho without new licenses. The adoption method matters more than the list. Do not enable all ten this weekend. Pick the one that maps to your loudest current pain — missed follow-ups mean Cadences, chaotic discounting means approvals, messy handoffs mean Blueprint. Ship one per month, announce it, train for thirty minutes, and measure something. Ten features adopted over ten months beats ten features enabled in one enthusiastic afternoon and abandoned by the next quarter. That is the most reliable zoho tip I can offer. Blueprint is the highest-value unused feature in Zoho CRM — it enforces your sales process instead of merely recording it. Cadences, SalesSignals, and SalesInbox replace paid outreach add-ons many teams buy separately while already owning the capability. Canvas fixes CRM adoption problems that look like training problems by redesigning cluttered screens per team. Enable one feature per month tied to a real pain point, test in sandbox first, and measure — mass activation leads to abandonment. If you suspect your Zoho subscription is doing a tenth of what you pay for, you are probably right — and the fix is usually configuration, not more licenses.
