Warp (terminal). It has AI command completion, persistent command history that actually searches well, and blocks that let you re-run previous commands as units. I switched from iTerm2 and the daily workflow improvement was immediate. The AI completion for complex bash commands alone saves me time every day.
Linear for task management. The speed of the interface — keyboard shortcuts that actually work, instant search, no loading states — means I actually keep my tasks up to date instead of abandoning the tool. A task manager you use is infinitely better than one you don't.
The Three That Changed How I Work
Raycast replaced Spotlight and half of my browser bookmarks. App switching, clipboard history, window management, currency conversion, JSON formatting — all through one keystroke and a few characters. I probably use it 200 times a day without thinking about it.
Tableplus for database work. Visual query results, instant connection switching, and a query editor that autocompletes table and column names correctly. I stopped writing raw psql commands for anything non-automated. The last one: Sizzy for responsive design testing — multiple device sizes in a single window, live editing that updates everywhere simultaneously.
